So I was supposed to get back into the blogging groove this week, but Mother Nature had other plans. My family and I are among the thousands of people without power thanks to Saturday's freak ass snowstorm!
This annoying turn of events finds me both displaced and disgruntled. I'm camped out at my parents' house, A.K.A. Little House on the Prairie. My parents have no HBO, Showtime or Internet access. (I'm penning this impromptu bitch session while on lunch at work.)
It will probably be another one to two days before we get power back in my town. In summary - aaaagggghhhh!

Hey I own a Little house on the prairie type house in the middle of nowhere and I get Direct and internet through broadband lol. I know that snow has been horrible, it came through here as rain. Hoping you get to come home soon.
Awww, I'm sorry to hear it, girl. I didn't lose power, but my parents did (poor poppa is all alone as my mom is on vacation) and I'm worried he won't know how to feed himself. I know, I'm a worry wart.

mother nature is totally on the rag. like all year, she's been such a bitch.
We just got our power back today! It was so nice to take a nice hot shower and have the fridge running again. Of course, all the food we had was ruined and we have to buy new food :(

See, there's a reason I continue to live on the WEST coast and in an area without a lot of crazy weather. I don't have to put up with that crap. LOL.
Hope you're back soon. I'd go nuts without power AND internet for more than a day.
I don't think I could go without Internet. Thats just a little too much. Hopefully your shit gets back up and running soon!
